Foxhedge is an indie rock band based out of Monmouth County, NJ. The music involves strong rhythms, groovy beats, and catchy melodies that lets the listener get their daily dose of the sounds they’re missing. Members Alana (vox, guitar) and Seamus (guitar, drums, vox) play some melodies that will get stuck in your head for months while Pater (bass) holds down the solid rhythm section along with Finn (production, drums).

After jamming together for many months, the band went into the studio to record “In the Mountains”, Foxhedge’s debut album, which was released December 8th, 2018. Different lives and schools took our members in different directions geographically, however we tried to still communicate as bandmates and worked on writing new music to start on when we returned to our hometowns. “Home Again”, the sophomore album, was then released December 13th, 2019, after rejoining and putting finishing touches on the music. Again, school separated the members of the band, after playing a couple shows of course, and they were back to writing music from different spots in the country. Seeing how a lot of the world was remote, due to COVID-19, and knowing shows and recording studios were off limits for the time being, Foxhedge set off to record their own music.

After a year of sending the same couple songs around, and getting to pick them apart over a crazy summer, they ending up with some songs that were going to be self recorded. Drums got recorded and sent, to which everyone else recorded along to, ending the many month process with a product everyone was very happy with. All in all, Foxhedge is looking towards a future of fun shows and good times.

Following the release of ‘Fozhenge’, the band set out the try the same feat of writing in the limited breaks we have together to write a whole new set of songs we are very proud of. We are super excited for this things to come this summer ’22; new music, new merch, new venues, and hopefully a lot of new faces to see!
